2020 National Barefoot Championship - Helles Park
The stage was set for Nat's 2020 and looming in the not too distant future was the World Titles, also at Helles Park. Australia is defending champion and the excitement to defend the title on home turf was a buzz...... COVID was in Australia in Feb, but not yet rampant and the pandemic declared in March which resulted in cancellation of World Titles in 2020 :-( Weather and conditions at Helles Park were perfect all week with unusually warm weather and ideal water conditions from dawn til dusk. What a magnificent event and the hope of dress rehearsal for World Titles added an electrical buzz of anticipation!
